Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)

The mental health and wellbeing of your employees is essential to a thriving, productive business. When times are tough, who can they turn to for support?  Who can they talk to in confidence?

One of the most recognised forms of confidential and independent support is providing access to an EAP.

We are delighted to be able to offer access to an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)

The helpline gives your workforce access to professional, completely confidential counselling services, with the option of face-to-face assistance if required.

This low-cost support gives you and your employees peace of mind that there is easy access to emotional support any time they need it – just a phone call away.

In addition to the helpline, other add-on options include face-to-face counselling, HMRC compliant employment assistance and enhanced telephone services.

All employee assistance helpline counsellors are accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work within the framework of its code of ethics.

So if you want to give your workforce a little extra help in terms of their physical and emotional wellbeing, please get in touch.

Benefits for your employees:

You don’t always know if one of your employees is struggling.  The Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) offers dedicated, specific support, with counsellors trained to help with stress, anxiety, depression, family and relationship issues, bereavement or financial difficulties.

The round-the-clock EAP helpline gives your employees access to:

  • Accredited counsellors and subject specialists

  • An in-depth counsellor assessment

  • Free advice, information and signposting to further help

  • An online interactive mental fitness tool

  • Self-help workbooks

  • Wellbeing Hub mental fitness techniques

Benefits for your business:

Managers want to be able to help - but don’t always know how. Having access to an EAP can give them the confidence to signpost staff to the right, trained support to help them deal with whatever issues they are facing - and if needed access to individual and confidential counselling:

  • Supports a happier and more productive workforce

  • Reduces and minimises sickness and absence

  • Alleviates presenteeism or lack of focus at work

  • Helps your employees identify root causes of the issues they face

  • Advice and guidance for managerial staff

  • Management information on call volumes and type (non-case specific)

“These are appropriate measures to try and improve the attendance of an employee whose sickness absence is stated to be caused by stress at work.”
