  • Absolutely. We offer flexible options including one-off project support, hourly packages, and monthly retainers. You’re free to choose what works best for your business, with no long-term commitment required.

  • We offer tailored HR training on topics like managing absence, handling grievances, recruitment, equality, diversity and inclusion, and introduction to line management. All training is designed around your business, with practical, real-world examples.

  • An HRIS (Human Resources Information System) is a cloud-based tool that helps you manage everything from holidays and absences to contracts, time tracking, and employee data. Our system is customisable to your specific needs, and is designed to give you a straight-forward and clear overview of your team. It saves time, improves accuracy, and gives you one central place to manage HR.

  • Yes. We provide expert HR advice on managing disputes, grievances, disciplinaries, and conflict resolution. • In short — everything you need to support your people and protect your business.

We start by ensuring you’ve got the right, up-to-date documentation in place — contracts, handbooks, and HR policies tailored to your organisation and compliant with current legislation.

We can also help introduce an HR Information System (HRIS) to streamline your admin. No more ‘wipe-on-wipe-off’ holiday charts on the wall!  With everything stored in one secure, accessible platform, managing your team becomes much simpler.

You’ll have access to Employee Dispute Insurance too, offering peace of mind and protection in the event of an employment tribunal.

We also offer practical training for managers, covering employment processes and best practice — giving your team the skills and confidence to handle HR matters appropriately and legally.

And importantly, we're here when you need us at the end of a phone. No call centres — just direct access to experienced HR professionals who take the time to understand your business and give specific, pragmatic advice. Whether it’s everyday issues like lateness or persistent absence, or more complex longer-term situations like redundancy, performance management, or long-term sickness — we will ensure you have that continuity and clarity to manage these situations with confidence.

  • Yes — in fact, that’s exactly who we’re here for.

We work with many small and growing businesses who either don’t have an internal HR team or simply need extra support from time to time. Whether you're just starting to hire and want to get things right from the beginning, or you're managing an established team and need expert advice as issues arise, we’ve got you covered.

We will be there when you need us, without the overheads of a full-time hire and we’ll help you stay compliant and resolve any issues confidently.

  • You might not need us every day, but there are times when having an external HR consultant can be invaluable.

We can step in when your team is stretched — for example, during periods of high demand,  when a project has a tight deadline or needs extra capacity or specialist expertise. We’re also brought in to provide an impartial, independent perspective for sensitive matters like investigations, grievances, or restructures — situations where objectivity is key.

We work seamlessly alongside your in-house HR, offering flexible, reliable support when you need it the most.

  • Yes — we will conduct independent, professional workplace investigations to ensure a fair and impartial process.

When serious concerns arise — such as allegations of misconduct, bullying, discrimination, or grievances — it’s crucial that investigations are handled objectively, sensitively, and in line with employment law. As an external HR consultancy, we’re able to approach these situations without bias, which is often difficult for internal managers who may be too close to the issue.

We follow a structured process from initial fact-finding through to reporting and recommendations. Our aim is always to provide clarity and help you to make well-informed decisions.
